Our company participates in the SAT-AM project. It is a research project funded by the European Commission under the CLEAN SKY 2 program. The total budget of the project exceeds 9 million EUR, of which funding from the European Commission is 6 million EUR.

Zakłady Lotnicze M&M are responsible for the implementation of modern technology of low temperature out of autoclave prepregs for the production of aviation structures, on the example of a demonstrator, which is a complete turboprop aircraft nacelle.

The consortium, coordinated by the Instytut Lotnictwa (Institute of Aviation), consists of 8 partners representing the aviation industry and research institutes. In addition to the Instytut Lotnictwa, the consortium includes: PZL Mielec, Eurotech, Szel-Tech, P.W. Metrol, Ultratech, Zakłady Lotnicze Margański & Mysłowski and the Italian research and development institute Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali (CIRA). Completion of the SAT-AM project is planned for 2021.

As a result of research, analysis and implementation, new technologies for the production of aircraft structures will be developed. The new elements will be tested and implemented as components of the M28 aircraft cabin and nacelle.
